Meet Jordy
Jordy is a 25 year old makeup artist whose passion for beauty began early, she started practicing at just 14 and entered beauty school at 17, launching her professional career
shortly after.
Since she could remember, one of Jordy’s core values has been the power of sincere, intentional connection. Her ability to truly see, hear, and honor the people she works with has shaped every part of her journey. It’s a quality that turns makeup appointments into meaningful moments and has even brought lifelong friendships into her life.
In early 2023, Jordy was diagnosed with multiple debilitating autoimmune disorders that required her to pause her mobile freelance career and devote herself fully to healing body, mind, and heart. During this time, she immersed herself in studying the nervous system and somatic, trauma informed practices. What began as personal recovery evolved into one of her deepest passions and now informs the way she connects with everyone who enters her space.
The heart of Birdy’s Room beats in rhythm with Jordy’s own: caring, intentional, and poetic. To her, makeup is more than an art form it’s an opportunity for a grounding, creative, and emotionally regulating experience. By weaving together her artistry, her knowledge of the nervous system, and her passion for human connection, Jordy has created a transformative approach to beauty that radiates love, presence, and authenticity.
